The STAHLWERK CUT 60 P Digital plasma cutter is a powerful and compact cutting inverter for the precise cutting of electrically conductive metals. The infinitely variable cutting current of 30 to 60 A covers a wide range of applications – from thin sheets to solid mild steel plates.
The HF pilot ignition ensures convenient, contactless ignition of the plasma arc; alternatively, a contact start is available. Depending on the material, cuts of up to 20 mm are possible with mild steel (ST37), 8-10 mm with stainless steel (V2A/V4A) and 5-8 mm with aluminum. Even painted and slightly rusted workpieces can be processed cleanly and efficiently.
The integrated smart cooling, overheating protection and IP21S protection class ensure reliable and durable operation. Thanks to the THC interface, the stahlwerk plasma cutter CUT 60 P Digital can be operated with CNC systems to automatically regulate the torch distance to the workpiece according to the arc voltage.
The CUT 60 P Digital also has the “MESH METAL” and “SHEET METAL” operating modes. The “MESH METAL” mode is particularly suitable for workpieces with a grid structure or interruptions where the arc may briefly lose contact. The “SHEET METAL” mode is recommended for continuous sheets where a uniform cut is guaranteed.
The STAHLWERK CUT 60 Pilot IGBT plasma cutter is supplied with a comprehensive accessory package and is ready for immediate use. The air pre-flow and post-flow time can be set individually on the device, and a longer post-flow time improves cooling and thus contributes to extending the service life of the wearing parts.
Functions of the Stahlwerk Plasma Cutter Cut 60 P Digital
- Plasma / CUT – A plasma jet is generated by means of electricity, which melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. All conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and many more can be cut precisely and effortlessly.
- Cutting thickness – Depending on the material, cuts of up to 20 mm are possible. Mild steel ST37 15- 20 mm, V2A or V4A 8-10 mm, aluminum 5-8 mm.
- Pilot ignition – High-frequency (HF) pilot ignition for first-class ignition behavior. No contact with the workpiece necessary! The pilot flame establishes the arc. This torch can be operated with a spacer included in the scope of delivery.
- Cutting current – stepless adjustment from 30 to 60 A. A THC interface enables connection to CNC gantry systems and automatic control of the torch distance via the arc voltage – ideal for precise series and contour cuts.
- MESH METAL” operating mode – is particularly suitable for workpieces with a grid structure or interruptions where the arc may lose contact for a short time.
- SHEET METAL” operating mode – recommended for continuous sheets where a uniform cut is guaranteed.
- Pre-flow and post-flow setting – This function allows the air pre-flow and post-flow time to be set individually.
